What A Buyer Sees Vs. What I See As Their Realtor
Just one more reason why having an experienced agent who truly cares makes all the difference...
While you’re picturing your future, I’m checking the details: things like the age of major systems, potential red flags, and anything that could turn into a costly surprise later on.
Read more to see what I’m looking for to ensure you're protected every step of the way as your agent.
A COZY FIREPLACE
Is it wood burning or gas? Does the seller’s property disclosure say it’s in working order? If it is wood burning, when was the last time it was cleaned and inspected?
A BRIGHT AIRY LIVING ROOM
I’ll check out the windows. How old are they? Do any of them have broken seals or signs of moisture damage around the frames? And which direction do they face? That might not seem like a big deal, but it can significantly impact the amount of light you receive, the home's energy efficiency, and even the day-to-day comfort.
A FRESH COAT OF PAINT
Especially in the basement! Is it just a cosmetic refresh, or is it covering up something, such as cracks or moisture issues?
OLD HOME "CHARM"
I’m looking for knob and tube (or outdated) wiring, structural issues, musty or wet basements, or plumbing concerns.
Because my job isn’t just to help you fall in love with a home—it’s to make sure it’s the right home.
If you’re considering buying, let’s connect. I’d love to help you navigate the process with confidence!| Previous Post | Next Post |
